5) Complexity and Detail
I am not sure how far I need to go on this subject. I believe most people will intuitively know that complexity and detail will add visual interest but will generally also add cost. Below are two front elevations of recent homes that we had on the Bellaire Showcase of New Homes. Notice the level of details on the yellow stucco home. It has a great deal of complexity and detail that make it truly outstanding. It has become one of our signature homes and is the work of Guillermo Avalos, who has done many beautiful designs for us.
The second home does not have quite the details but does have high quality finishes including the standing seam roof, decorative rain gutters, carriage garage doors, cast stone window surrounds and cast stone columns.
